Copr is an easy-to-use automatic build system providing a package repository as its output.

Start with making your own repository in these three steps:

  1. choose a system and architecture you want to build for
  2. provide Copr with src.rpm packages available online
  3. let Copr do all the work and wait for your new repo

NOTE: Copr is not yet officially supported by Fedora Infrastructure.

Various things used on the Liverpool University HPC service that aren't yet, or can't be (e.g. using dkms), in Fedora/EPEL, as well as rebuilds and modifications of existing packages. This targets principally EPEL6 -- other targets are currently mostly for testing the packaging. See also the parallel gridengine repo. [This may no longer reflect Liverpool usage, but I've kept the name for now.] People who don't believe in packaging might still find this useful for providing build recipes.
