Description
This is an ejabberd build produced by the Fedora Erlang SIG that tracks the latest upstream ejabberd. The stable Fedora releases try to stay on an ejabberd year.month version, backporting needed bugfixes. This Copr repository is for users who want to be on the latest ejabberd as it is released, and don't mind API incompatible updates.
Thanks to Fedora Copr, we are able to provide both experiences to our users!
Installation Instructions
To install ejabberd from this copr:
$ sudo dnf copr enable @erlang/ejabberd
$ sudo dnf install ejabberd
Next we will configure ejabberd, set it to start at boot, and start it. You should read the ejabberd configuration docs for details here:
$ sudo $EDITOR /etc/ejabberd/ejabberd.yml
$ sudo systemctl enable ejabberd
$ sudo systemctl start ejabberd
Next you can follow the ejabberd post-install instructions to get started with creating a user account.
