@python/python3.10

Project ID: 35923

Description

Fedora 35 Changes/Python3.10 test builds happen here. Don't add to your system, only use in mock.

If you need to test a change in a Fedora package in this copr, open pull request at src.fedoraproject.org and obsereve the results in:

https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/g/python/python3.10/builds/?dirname=python3.10:pr:<pr number here>

E.g. in python3.10:pr:1 for Pull Request with number #1, or in python3.10:pr:47 for Pull Request with number #47.

Installation Instructions

Place this mock config as ~/.config/mock/fedora-rawhide-python310.cfg:

include('/etc/mock/fedora-rawhide-x86_64.cfg') config_opts['root'] = 'fedora-rawhide-python310' config_opts[f'{config_opts.package_manager}.conf'] += """ [python310] name=Copr repo for python3.10 owned by @python baseurl=https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/@python/python3.10/fedora-rawhide-$basearch/ type=rpm-md skip_if_unavailable=False gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/@python/python3.10/pubkey.gpg repo_gpgcheck=0 enabled=1 enabled_metadata=1 cost=10 """

Build using mock -r fedora-rawhide-python310. Until dnf is built here, you'll need to disable bootstrap with --no-bootstrap-chroot.

There is no upgrade path. Clean your mock regularly. Sometimes with mock -r fedora-rawhide-python310 --scrub=all.

To do repoqueries, you might want to have the repo in your system as well as /etc/yum.repos.d/python310.repo:

[python310] name=Copr repo for python3.10 owned by @python baseurl=https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/@python/python3.10/fedora-rawhide-$basearch/ type=rpm-md skip_if_unavailable=False gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/@python/python3.10/pubkey.gpg repo_gpgcheck=0 enabled=0 enabled_metadata=1

And you can run queries like:

$ repoquery --repo python310 python-rpm-generators python-rpm-generators-0:10-2.fc32.src
