This is an unofficial repository to test a new packaging scheme for nightly builds of KiCad.

Contrary to the current official KiCad nightly Copr, the packages from this repository can be installed in parallel to the Fedora upstream KiCad package.

All packages are rebuilt every Saturday at 03:00 CE(S)T, unless no changes have been made to the respective source repository since the last build. The main KiCad package is also rebuilt on Tuesday and Thursday 03:00 CE(S)T. This allows to do selective updates, e.g., if only the kicad-symbols repository has been updated within the last seven days, then only the kicad-nightly-symbols package is rebuilt and users get an update for that without the need to also download and install the application and other libraries.

Warning: Nightly builds are untested, might be affected by serious bugs and/or produce files that are incompatible with the latest stable release. This can potentially lead to a corruption or even loss of data. Always take a backup of your projects before opening them with the applications from this package.
