Description
Run websites as if they were apps. Unofficial port of Linux Mint's webapp-manager built from the master branch as it updates.
Installation Instructions
Firstly add the Copr repository to your system:
sudo dnf copr enable kylegospo/webapp-manager
After adding the repository, install webapp-manager:
sudo dnf install webapp-manager
Immutable
If you wish to use this in Silverblue, Kinoite, or other immutable distros, my recommendation is to install this in a Fedora distrobox and export it. Additionally, you'll want to symlink the following inside your Fedora distrobox:
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/distrobox-host-exec /usr/bin/xdg-open && \
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/distrobox-host-exec /usr/bin/flatpak && \
sudo ln -s /usr/bin/distrobox-host-exec /usr/bin/firefox
You can also install xdg-utils-distrobox instead of symlinking xdg-open if you have other applications depending on xdg-utils in the same distrobox.
This will allow webapp-manager to work with your default web browser, and any browers you've installed via flatpak.
