Wayland reference compositor with support for eglstreams.

Installation Instructions

Installing

To install weston with EGLStream support run dnf install weston-eglstream. Keep in mind that packages in this repository conflict with Fedora's officially maintained build.

Running

To run the compositor with EGLStream instead of gbm, run it with the --use-egldevice flag.

Caveats

• Hardware rendering with the official NVIDIA driver on Xwayland is not supported. Consider using a custom build of the Xorg 1.20 Xwayland server with support for server side glvnd.
