Custom build of niri scrollable-tiling Wayland compositor with GetCursorPos IPC feature

Based on niri 26.4.0 with additional features:

• GetCursorPos IPC command for real-time cursor position tracking
• Supports text and JSON output formats

Installation Instructions

Installation

Enable the repository and install:

sudo dnf copr enable caoturkey/niri
sudo dnf install niri

Features Added

• niri msg get-cursor-pos - Get current cursor position
• niri msg get-cursor-pos --json - JSON format output

Usage

After installation, restart niri compositor. The custom IPC commands will be available.
