The TurnServer project (or Coturn) aims to be compliant with the TURN and STUN Request For Comments (respectively RFC 5766 and RFC 5389). It also support RFC6156 namely TURN-IPV6 (relay between IPv4-IPv6, IPv6-IPv4 and IPv6-IPv6 addresses) and RFC6062 namely TURN-TCP (relay data with TCP).
The Session Traversal Utilities for NAT (STUN) is a standardized set of methods, including a network protocol, for traversal of network address translator (NAT) gateways in applications of real-time voice, video, messaging, and other interactive communications.
Traversal Using Relays around NAT (TURN) is a protocol that assists in traversal of network address translators (NAT) or firewalls for multimedia applications.
Interactive Connectivity Establishment (ICE) is a technique used in computer networking to find ways for two computers to talk to each other as directly as possible in peer-to-peer networking.
Installation Instructions
To enable this repository and install coturn, just run:
sudo dnf copr enable @cpuhouse/turnserver
sudo dnf install coturn
