The Budgie desktop environment for EL9.

DISCLAIMER

Packages are in place but at least on my machine with nvidia drivers i didn't get it up. Budgie-desktop crashes somewhere in startup sequence.

Installation Instructions

Installation

sudo dnf copr enable damkrat/budgie

Press Y to allow.

Install:

sudo dnf install budgie-desktop

Recommended packages

sudo dnf install nautilus gnome-terminal gnome-system-monitor arc-theme arc-icon-theme gedit

A collection of applets are now available as: budgie-applet-[name]. They can all be installed at once by installing the budgie-extras package

sudo dnf install budgie-extras

RHEL/EPEL Specific

Development Packages on RHEL/EPEL

The powertools repository will need to be enabled in order to install budgie development packages on RHEL/EPEL

sudo dnf config-manager --enable powertools
