OpenVPN 3 based client for Linux, built with modern Linux distributions in mind. OpenVPN 3 clients are mostly compatible with OpenVPN 2, but there are some features not yet present - like TAP device support and several other and lesser used features. If your configuration works with the OpenVPN Connect Android and iOS app, it will most likely function quite well as this client uses the same OpenVPN 3 Core Library as OpenVPN Connect. NOTE: Fedora 38 and newer Users on Fedora 38 and newer should for the time being be using the development snapshot Copr repository. For details see GitHub Issue 171

Latest OpenVPN 2.5 releases for Red Hat Enterprise Linux and CentOS which does not ship the latest versions in the distro provided repositories (main Fedora EPEL repositories). Packages in this repository are fully supported by the OpenVPN community. Note: For OpenVPN 2.6 releases, please use https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/dsommers/openvpn-release-2.6/ For more bleeding edge OpenVPN builds, have a look at the dsommers/openvpn-git Copr repository.
