Description
Flexible flow collector that fully supports IPFIX protocol including the enterprise elements. The IPFIXcol can serve as an IPFIX mediator as well. The core of the collector supports input, intermediate and output plugins for receiving, processing and storing flow data. IPFIXcol thus provides a framework for complex processing of flow information from multiple different sources. This is particularly useful in 100GE environment, where the need to handle large amount of data arises.
The IPFIXcol framework is not just an advanced flow collector. It contains number of tools for offline data processing and can be used as an advanced substitution for nfdump.
