Installation Instructions

Centos will need to pull down the *.repo file into /etc/yum.repos.d/, though fedoras ought to be able to run dnf copr enable galileo/bazel to get this repo (or dnf copr enable -y galileo/bazel for batch processes like building a container image).

Next:

• dnf install -y bazel (or yum) for v1 branch
• dnf install -y bazel2 (or yum) for v2 branch (use dnf install -y --allowerasing bazel2 to upgrade from prior version)
• dnf install -y bazel3 (or yum) for v3 branch (use dnf install -y --allowerasing bazel3 to upgrade from prior version)
• dnf install -y bazel4 (or yum) for v4 branch (use dnf install -y --allowerasing bazel4 to upgrade from prior version)
• dnf install -y bazel5 (or yum) for v5 branch (use dnf install -y --allowerasing bazel5 to upgrade from prior version)
• dnf install -y bazel6 (or yum) for v6 branch (use dnf install -y --allowerasing bazel5 to upgrade from prior version)
• dnf install -y bazel8 (or yum) for v8 branch (use dnf install -y --allowerasing bazel5 to upgrade from prior version)
