Hellaenergy's Projects

hellaenergy/ros2-jazzy

Development-only ROS 2 Jazzy Jalisco RPMs for Fedora 44+ and CentOS Stream 10 (maintenance). Minimal headless set plus a dev sandbox (rqt, ros2cli, launch, demo nodes, Cyclone DDS) via ros-jazzy-ros-desktop; rviz2 is not packaged on Jazzy. NOT the official ROS 2 packages for Fedora. Lyrical (flagship, the current LTS) lives at hellaenergy/ros2.
  • Centos-stream 10 : aarch64, x86_64
  • Fedora 44 : aarch64, x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : aarch64, x86_64

hellaenergy/o3de-development-qt6

O3DE built against vanilla Qt6.10.2 from the upstream o3de/o3de:qt6 branch (PR #19567). Test channel for the Qt6 migration ahead of its merge into development and target landing in 26.10. NOT for general use -- expect regressions tracked in the PR.
  • Centos-stream 10 : x86_64
  • Fedora 44 : x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : x86_64

hellaenergy/o3de-development-debug

O3DE debug-config binaries mirroring hellaenergy/o3de-development (upstream development-branch tip, all-bundled; same NVR + the o3de2605-debug subpackage; -O0 + full symbols). Enable alongside hellaenergy/o3de-development, then: dnf install o3de2605-debug
  • Centos-stream 10 : x86_64
  • Fedora 44 : x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : x86_64

hellaenergy/o3de-testing-debug

O3DE debug-config binaries mirroring hellaenergy/o3de-testing (same NVR + the o3de2605-debug subpackage; -O0 + full symbols for tester crash reports). Enable alongside hellaenergy/o3de-testing, then: dnf install o3de2605-debug
  • Centos-stream 10 : x86_64
  • Fedora 44 : x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : x86_64

hellaenergy/o3de-testing

Open 3D Engine 26.05.x for Fedora: testing channel (pre-promotion to stable). Mirrors Fedora updates-testing semantics. Stable engine source tag plus packaging-side bug fixes and minor enhancements queued for the hellaenergy/o3de stable channel. Promotion flow: main HEAD -> testing (~48h soak window) -> stable. Most users should enable hellaenergy/o3de instead.

  • Fedora 44 : x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : x86_64

hellaenergy/o3de-development

Open 3D Engine -- builds from upstream's development branch tip, refreshed automatically by a weekly Sunday cron (skipped when the upstream tip has not moved since the last build). For stable releases, use hellaenergy/o3de (tracks upstream's main branch). For pre-release validation of the next release line, use hellaenergy/o3de-stabilization. For an in-progress migration branch, a dedicated per-branch COPR project is created rather than overloading this one (e.g. hellaenergy/o3de-development-qt6 for the Qt6 migration).

  • Fedora 44 : x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : x86_64

hellaenergy/ros2

Development-only ROS 2 Lyrical (the 2026 LTS) RPMs for Fedora 44+ and CentOS Stream 10. Ships the headless set plus a full developer sandbox (rqt, ros2cli, launch, demo nodes, Cyclone DDS) and rviz2 via ros-lyrical-ros-desktop. NOT the official ROS 2 packages for Fedora; Open Robotics is delivering those for Lyrical. For production, use their official packages. Jazzy (maintenance) lives at hellaenergy/ros2-jazzy.

  • Fedora 44 : aarch64, x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : aarch64, x86_64

hellaenergy/o3de-stabilization

Open 3D Engine: pre-release engine-validation builds from upstream's stabilization/<release> branch (currently stabilization/26050, the next-release line). Active during the upstream stabilization window (~4 weeks per release cycle); dormant between cycles. When upstream tags and merges to main, the released content lands in hellaenergy/o3de; this channel then rolls over to track the next major's stabilization branch (e.g., stabilization/26100). Community-tester channel during active stabilization windows. For routine post-release packaging-fix validation between cycles, use hellaenergy/o3de-testing instead (mirrors Fedora's updates-testing semantics; pre-promotion soak for the stable channel).
  • Centos-stream 10 : x86_64
  • Fedora 44 : x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : x86_64

hellaenergy/o3de

Open 3D Engine: tagged stable releases for Fedora. Tracks upstream o3de/o3de:main, which is where each O3DE release lands and is tagged (2510.2, 2605.0, etc.). New builds land here whenever upstream ships a release on the twice-yearly major cadence plus point releases. Use this channel for production / stable Fedora installs; use hellaenergy/o3de-stabilization for pre-release validation of the next release line.

  • Fedora 44 : x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : x86_64

hellaenergy/o3de-experimental

Open 3D Engine -- experimental builds. Stage 1 system-swap migrations + Stage 2 license-clean-rebuild migrations + other structural packaging work that's not ready for community testers (hellaenergy/o3de-stabilization) yet. Don't enable this repo unless you know what you're getting; this channel exists for the packaging effort's internal validation.
