infiniti151/flatpak2spec

flatpak2spec is a fast, robust Rust CLI tool designed to inspect Flatpak application repositories (or remote URLs) and automatically generate idiomatic Fedora RPM .spec files. By parsing Flatpak manifests (JSON/YAML), AppStream metadata, and build configurations, it bridges the gap between containerized app specs and native RPM packaging—optimizing the output out-of-the-box for Fedora Copr, GitHub Actions, and online CI pipelines.

infiniti151/flatpak-apps

Collection of my favourite Flatpak apps. My main motivation for doing this was to get away from the ridiculous storage hogging by Flatpak apps. Since these apps may build for different versions of Gnome, Flatpak needs to download dependencies (runtimes, drivers, extras) for each version. Each of these versions can take up 1 GB+ of storage. Even if apps build for the same version of Gnome as you may already be on, Flatpak needs to download dependencies for it due to its sandboxed model. It can't use your system's packages. So even though an app may be a few kilobytes/megabytes, it needs gigabytes of total dependencies. Appimage does solve this to an extent by using compression, but the same compression leads to delays in starting some apps. My repo aims to provide Flatpak apps as RPMs in their original size (and even reduced size in some cases with upx) for Fedora Linux.

infiniti151/systemd-lock-handler

systemd-lock-handler is a robust backend service designed to synchronize a user’s systemd session with the session's lock state and system sleep cycles. Unlike simpler handlers that listen for transient D-Bus signals, this tool monitors the LockedHint property of the org.freedesktop.login1.Session interface. This ensures a reliable state-of-truth for whether the session is locked or unlocked, regardless of which desktop environment or locker is in use. Key Features State-Based Monitoring: Tracks the LockedHint property for high reliability. User-Level Targets: Automatically manages the activation and deactivation of lock.target and unlock.target within the systemctl --user context. Sleep Integration: Bridges system-level suspend events to a user-level sleep.target, allowing users to run teardown/setup scripts (like dGPU management or network mounting) before the machine actually suspends. Minimal Footprint: Written in Go to provide a lightweight, set-and-forget background service.
