Jamatos's Projects

jamatos/python_machine_learning_misc

Python machine learning packages that are not yet on Fedora. The purpose is to use this to fine tune the packages before submitting them to Fedora.

jamatos/nikola-playground

python-nikola is already back into Fedora. Yay. :-) If you want to use Nikola in Fedora you can install it using: $ sudo dnf install nikola This is a playground to test for updates, or new features, in Nikola before bringing them to Fedora. So unless you want to participate in developing the python-nikola package there is no need to activate this repo.

jamatos/lyx-devel

This is a test repository for the current LyX development version. Currently that means the 2.4 development version. The name of the package, as well as the binaries and the user directory (${HOME}/.lyx-devel), has the suffix -devel. This is done in order to not to interfere with the stable LyX version that ships in the Fedora repositories. The name of the package and the location of the files in the package allows the parallel install with the stable LyX versions. For feedback related with this package either the LyX developers mailing list or the LyX users mailing list can be used.

jamatos/lyx-next

This is a test repository for the LyX for testing before going into Fedora. This repository only has versions that have been deemed stable, or quasi-stable, by the LyX development team. So it should be safe to use but as always you should be careful and backup your work before testing this. Currently this means testing lyx-2.4.x (for x>= 0). As soon as the stable release is done the packages will become available in the Fedora repositories. Warning: Since the purpose of this repository is to test the stable versions the packages here will replace the stable versions available at Fedora repositories.

  • Fedora 41 : aarch64, x86_64
  • Fedora rawhide : aarch64, x86_64

jamatos/rpy1

This repository features the version 1 of rpy a python library that interfaces with the R language. Since the version 2 is not code compatible with version 1 this repository supports the code that still uses version and that for any reason will not be ported to a later version.
