Description

Fedora kernel with a slight configuration change disabling CONFIG_CRYPTO_DEV_SP_PSP. With an upgraded firmware the patch in the previous project kernel-threadripper-passthrough is no longer needed. There were some issues booting with the CONFIG_CRYPTO_DEV_SP_PSP config option set.

This is a workaround for the bug described in rhbz 1608242

I tested the normal F28 kernel version 4.18.10-200.fc28.x86_64 and it no longer has the extended delay on boot. This copr is no longer needed.

See related discussions at threadripper_kvm_gpu_passthru_testers_needed.

This workaround was tested and worked on the Gigabyte X399 AORUS Gaming 7 r1 with BIOS version F10 on Fedora 28 with kernel 4.17.12-200.
