Installation Instructions

This COPR containes the Fedora packages to use with the kafs kernel module. This means kernels built with the following kernel features:

CONFIG_AF_RXRPC_INJECT_LOSS=n
CONFIG_AF_RXRPC_IPV6=y
CONFIG_AF_RXRPC_DEBUG=y
CONFIG_AF_RXRPC=m
CONFIG_AFS_DEBUG=y
CONFIG_AFS_FSCACHE=y
CONFIG_AFS_FS=m

Once you've added this repo (dnf copr enable jsbillings/kafs), install the kafs-client and kafs-utils packages. There is an updated keyutils package that will be updated on your system as well. Eventually, the keyutils package should be rolled into the upstream repos (Note: as of Fedora 34, I'm seeing the updated keyutils, so I'm not rebuilding it in Fedora). I'm also distributing a pam_afs_session package that has a "no_afs_check" pam module option, disabling the check for the OpenAFS/YFS pioctl file. This allows you to use it with kAFS.

If you are interested in running this on RHEL/CentOS 8, you will need the kernel-ml packages from ELRepo
