Description
This repository contains a standard Fedora kernel with extra patches which are pending upstream added to improve support for Qualcomm Snapdragon based Windows on ARM (aarch64) laptops. The extra patches are mainly those from the linux-msm/laptops-kernel repo's qcom-laptops branch.
This repo may from time to time also contain other hardware-enablement related packages (e.g. dracut, upower) with patches to improve Snapdragon laptop support while those patches are finding their way into those same packages in Fedora's main package repository.
Here is a git branch matching the sources the latest kernel in this repository is build from.
Installation Instructions
To install the kernel from this repo the first time you need to pass --allow-vendor-change to dnf:
sudo dnf copr enable jwrdegoede/arm64-laptops
sudo dnf update --allow-vendor-change 'kernel*'
