kparal/glxosd

Description

GLXOSD is an on-screen display (OSD)/overlay for OpenGL applications running on Linux with X11. It can show FPS, the temperature of your CPU, and if you have an NVIDIA graphics card (with proprietary drivers), it will also show the temperature of the GPU. Also, it can log frame timings, which is useful for benchmarking. This project aims to provide some of the functionality that RivaTuner OSD (which is used by MSI Afterburner) provides under Windows.

Installation Instructions

Do not forget to install both x86_64 (64bit) and i686 (32bit) version of this program, because many games are still 32bit, and you'll need to have 32bit glxosd libraries installed to benchmark such games.

Enable this copr repo:

$ sudo dnf copr enable kparal/glxosd

or download the multilib repository file manually below and place it in /etc/yum.repos.d/.

Install both versions of glxosd:

$ sudo dnf install glxosd.x86_64 glxosd.i686

Now you should be able to use glxosd to benchmark both 64bit and 32bit applications.
