Builds of kafs kernels and kafs-related tools
Installation Instructions
This COPR containes the Fedora packages to use with the kafs kernel module. This means kernels built with the following kernel features:
CONFIG_AF_RXRPC_INJECT_LOSS=n
CONFIG_AF_RXRPC_IPV6=y
CONFIG_AF_RXRPC_DEBUG=y
CONFIG_AF_RXRPC=m
CONFIG_AFS_DEBUG=y
CONFIG_AFS_FSCACHE=y
CONFIG_AFS_FS=m
As of the 4.19 kernel in Fedora, these features are turned on by default. If you want to test some rawhide kernels built against current fedora releases, I sporatically build them in this COPR
Once you've added this repo (dnf copr enable jsbillings/kafs), install the kafs-client and kafs-utils packages. There is an updated keyutils package that will be updated on your system as well. Eventually, the keyutils package should be rolled into the upstream repos. I'm working with the developer to get kafs-client and kafs-utils built as normal Fedora packages.
If you are interested in running this on RHEL/CentOS 8, you will need the kernel-ml packages from ELRepo
