Fedora 29 Fedora kernel with revert of "ACPI / EC: Remove old CLEAR_ON_RESUME quirk" (4c237371f290). For use with Samsung Book9 laptops while fail to recognize AC/battery status changes otherwise. kernel bz 44161 Fixed in kernel 5.0.9 which contains the revert patch from the kernel bz.

Repository containing the latest Scribus development currently 1.5.4+. All saved files will not be backward compatible to version 1.4.7 and earlier. Among the features: Spell check is now enabled by default Support for complex text layout now available for Asian speaking users. mjg/kernel-hp6715b

Fedora 29 Fedora kernel with revert of "ACPICA: AML interpreter: add region addresses in global list during initialization" (4abb951b73ff0a8a979113ef185651aa3c8da19b). Starting with 4.20.13, instead of the revert the proposed patch from the kernel bz is applied. For use with hp6715b laptops (and others) which do not boot the kernel otherwise. bz 1659225 Fixed in kernel 5.0.8 which contains the patch from the kernel bz. Fedora 26/27 Fedora kernel with Revert of "x86/ioapic: Force affinity setting in setup_ioapic_dest()" (4857c91f0d195f05908fff296ba1ec5fca87066c). For use with hp6715b laptops that run with slow cpu and high fan usage otherwise. Fixed in kernel 4.15.3 which removes that mis-patched codepath all together.

mjg/python2-PyX

This is a compatibility package providing the last version of PyX which is compatible with Python 2. It is a rebuild of the package PyX from Fedora 22 under the new name python2-PyX so that it can be installed in parallel with the package PyX from Fedora 23 and later (which contains PyX for Python 3 only). It expects its configuration in py2pyxrc instead of pyxrc. Sources on GitHub

mjg/libmng1

Compatibility package providing libmng.so.1. This is a rebuild of the last Fedora 20 package "libmng" before the version bump to version 2, under the new name "libmng1" to allow installation alongside newer libmng, as a last resort for resolving the dependencies of legacy binary rpms. It does not contain any additional security fixes - use at your own risk. Sources on GitHub
