Description

This is a repository for newest version of wireshark for epel-7 systems. It is being build without libssh (sshdump and ciscodump are not supported) and libmaxminddb. Available GUI is qt5 only, GTK has been dropped.

Installation Instructions

1. Install yum-copr-plugin:

   yum install yum-copr-plugin

2. Enable this copr repo:

   yum copr enable mruprich/wireshark-el7

3. Run update or install:

   yum update wireshark -- OR -- # yum install wireshark

Remember that there is no guarantee that this will work. The latest version of wireshark is very different from the one used in RHEL-7.
