Description
Length is a GNOME application that enables you to measure distances on screen. You can use it to design and inspect layouts and graphics.
Length supports pixels, centimeters, inches, picas, points, and percentages for the ruler markings. You can change the orientation of the markings from left-to-right to right-to left, and you can also introduce an offset to change the point of origin.
You can make the ruler semi-transparent to help you measure objects behind the ruler, and you can track the pointer position. You can also change the color and font.
You can change the size and orientation of the ruler by dragging the ruler corners (see changing orientation)
Length is inspired by several projects including KRuler and ScreenRuler
