Description

Provides macros from Mageia to enable compatibility of Mageia package scripts on RH/Fedora systems

Currently, two macros are provided:

• %mkrel

• %mklibname

These macros have been adapted from Mageia to be semi-useful.

Do not expect these macros to be present if you intend to properly support RH/Fedora!

Mageia can properly build Fedora-style packages; however, if you wanted to test Mageia packages on Fedora, you need these to make it work.

Installation Instructions

To install these, enable the repo and then run:

EL7/F21: sudo yum install mga-srpm-compat-macros

F22+: sudo dnf install mga-srpm-compat-macros

NOTE: THIS DOES NOT CURRENTLY WORK IN COPR

If you are building a package in Copr, you can just add this repo as an external repository source, and then add the following in your package spec

BuildRequires: mga-srpm-compat-macros
