Description
libfprint rebuilt with the out-of-tree EgisTec EH576 (egis0576, USB 1c7a:0576) fingerprint-sensor driver compiled in. Drop-in replacement for the stock libfprint; the unchanged fprintd loads it via the same soname. Source + provenance: https://github.com/PHILIPPDEV5396/libfprint-egis0576
Installation Instructions
sudo dnf copr enable PHILIPPDEV5396/libfprint-egis0576 && sudo dnf upgrade 'libfprint*' && sudo systemctl restart fprintd — then enroll a finger (fprintd-enroll) and enable pam_fprintd. Replaces the stock libfprint (keeps all other drivers).
