Installation Instructions
sudo dnf copr enable spyophobia/shadowsocks-rust
sudo dnf install shadowsocks-rust
Systemd units
Since shadowsocks is usually a long-running process, you likely want to run and manage it with a system daemon. For this purpose, this package installs several systemd unit files for your convenience.
- System-wide client unit:
/usr/lib/systemd/system/shadowsocks-rust-local@.service - System-wide server unit:
/usr/lib/systemd/system/shadowsocks-rust-server@.service - User-specific client unit:
/usr/lib/systemd/user/shadowsocks-rust-local@.service - User-specific server unit:
/usr/lib/systemd/user/shadowsocks-rust-server@.service
You can open those files with your favorite editor and find instructions on how to properly configure them.
