HPN-SSH is built on top of OpenSSH and focused on getting maximal performance from modern networks and processors. Based at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center, part of Carnegie Mellon University, and funded by the National Science Foundation. See https://psc.edu/hpn-ssh-home for more details.
