Description
Menu front-end for Claude Code that becomes the primary claude command. Installed as /usr/bin/claude, it shows an arrow-key menu (fresh/continue/resume sessions, provider, model, effort, per-run toggles) and execs the real Claude Code binary underneath. It discovers an existing native or npm install and never runs itself; 'claude install' offers to install or switch builds (including older versions). Supports Anthropic plus Moonshot/Kimi, DeepSeek, Qwen, OpenAI, and Grok. Ships global bash completion.
Installation Instructions
Enable the repo and install:
sudo dnf copr enable reversejames/claude-launcher
sudo dnf install claude-launcher
This installs the launcher as /usr/bin/claude. Run 'claude' for the menu, or 'claude install' to install/switch the underlying Claude Code build. On a system with an existing ~/.local/bin/claude native install, that user install may take PATH precedence; remove it to let the packaged launcher win.
