Installation Instructions
The git version in this repo is not stable, not released, and not recommended for production use. It is however very useful to test new git pre-release versions so you can report bugs before they escape into the wild. This version is build from the next branch and is ususally stable enough for everyday use, but breakages do occur occasionally (though rarely). Patches that land in this branch have not yet seen thorough testing in the git community, but using this package will let you help do this testing.
To enable this repository on a distribution using dnf:
$ sudo dnf install dnf-plugins-core
$ sudo dnf copr enable seveas/git-next
Or on older distributions that use yum:
$ sudo yum install yum-plugin-copr
$ sudo yum copr enable seveas/git-next
