Official wine add-on to enhance D3D9 applications by using Mesa's Gallium Nine state-tracker.

Testing releases are available at coprs/siro/wine-nine-unstable/.

This package enhances vanilla wine or wine-staging (it acts as add-on package) , but does not replace it.

In order to use this package, you must install the regular wine package.

Information

Provides decent performance improvements various D3D9 games. Requires the https://www.mesa3d.org/.

Installation Instructions

Activate this repo

• To import the PGP key as root, run:

  rpm --import https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/siro/wine-nine/pubkey.gpg
  
  

• To add this repo as root, save:

Install the wine add-on

• To install the wine add-on, run as root:

  dnf install wine-nine
  
  

Enable wine-nine

• Run as regular user in your WINEPREFIX

   wine ninewinecfg
  
  

• Enable the checkbox to activate Gallium Nine

Uninstall

• To remove the wine add-on, run as root:

  dnf remove wine-nine
  
  

• Remove the repo:

  rm /etc/yum.repos.d/_copr:copr.fedorainfracloud.org:siro:wine-nine.repo
