Description

Polaris is a user-friendly post-install utility for Fedora KDE Workstation. It simplifies setting up a fresh installation by providing a PySide6 (Qt6) interface to enable repositories (RPM Fusion, Flathub), install drivers (NVIDIA/AMD), and deploy a curated set of gaming, development, and productivity applications.

Installation Instructions for COPR

You can add this to the Instructions field in your COPR project settings to give users a clear path to installation:

  1. Enable the Repository Open your terminal and run the following command to enable this COPR repository on your system: "sudo dnf copr enable tristantheroux/Polaris"

  2. Install Polaris Once the repository is enabled, install the application: "sudo dnf install polaris"

  3. Launching the App : After installation, you can launch Polaris from your Application Menu (look for the Polaris icon) or by simply typing polaris in your terminal.

Feedback & Issues : If you encounter any bugs or have feature requests, please report them on our GitHub Issues page. When reporting a bug, it is very helpful to include the output from the Logs tab within the application.
