Description

ISC DHCP server and client for EL10. The dhcp package was removed from RHEL 10 in favor of Kea, but dhcpd is still needed in many environments. Built from the Fedora/CentOS Stream 9 SRPM. Provided as-is by VersatusHPC.

Installation Instructions

Install

sudo dnf copr enable viniciusferrao/dhcp
sudo dnf install dhcp-server

Or for the client only:

sudo dnf install dhcp-client

• dhcp-client — ISC DHCP client (dhclient)
• dhcp-relay — ISC DHCP relay agent (dhcrelay)
• dhcp-common — Common files for DHCP
• dhcp-libs — Shared libraries

Note

ISC has announced the end of maintenance for ISC DHCP as of the end of 2022. This package is provided for environments that still require dhcpd and is maintained as-is by VersatusHPC.
