Description

A GNOME tool for collecting system and user data. The collected data is anonymous and is sent to a secure server. The data will be used only for the purpose of enhancing usability and user experience of GNOME.

Installation Instructions

Using dnf or yum

1. Enable copr repo using #> dnf copr enable vstanek/gnome-info-collect
2. Install using #> dnf install gnome-info-collect
3. Run #> gnome-info-collect

Without dnf or yum

For Fedora systems without dnf or yum (Silverblue), you have to install the repo manually.

1. Download the repo for your distribution version below
2. Copy/move it to /etc/yum.repos.d/
3. Install using your package manager, e.g. for Silverblue #> rpm-ostree install gnome-info-collect
