an input device logger
kahlschlag provides the
/usr/bin/kahlschlag binary and the matching systemd
kahlschlag.service. To install
dnf install or
yum install and enable the system service:
dnf install kahlschlag systemctl enable --now kahlschlag.service
Log files are stored in
/tmp/kahlschlag-<datetime>, only the last three directories are kept by default. The default X display is
:0 but it will try to find the right display. This tool logs all events from all input devices, keycodes are obfuscated though.
