[ZFSBootMenu](https://github.com/zbm-dev/zfsbootmenu) is a Linux bootloader that knows how to find Linux kernels within ZFS filesystems and boot from those.

This repo is creating a rpm package for this.

Notice that if you install ZFSBootMenu via EFI you probably do not need this package. It is only strictly needed if you boot via BIOS.

We want to provide you with the most recent and successful builds of [LLVM](https://www.llvm.org) for Fedora and RHEL in a "rolling" fashion. That means, if you enable this repository, you should get new releases for LLVM frequently.

### Fedora versions and architectures

We build for the following architectures and operating systems, but please notice that this list changes when new Fedora/RHEL versions are being released.

```console
$ copr list-chroots | grep -P '^(fedora-(rawhide|[0-9]+)|rhel-[8,9]-)' | sort |  tr '\n' ' '
fedora-39-aarch64 fedora-39-i386 fedora-39-ppc64le fedora-39-s390x fedora-39-x86_64 fedora-40-aarch64 fedora-40-i386 fedora-40-ppc64le fedora-40-s390x fedora-40-x86_64 fedora-rawhide-aarch64 fedora-rawhide-i386 fedora-rawhide-ppc64le fedora-rawhide-s390x fedora-rawhide-x86_64 rhel-8-aarch64 rhel-8-s390x rhel-8-x86_64 rhel-9-aarch64 rhel-9-s390x
```

### Incubator projects

Did you notice a line like the follwing at the top of this project page?

```text
@fedora-llvm-team/llvm-snapshots ( forked from @fedora-llvm-team/llvm-snapshots-big-merge-20231218 )
```

We carefully create a new copr project for each day. These projects are called *incubator* projects.
Only if all packages for all operating systems and architectures in an incubator project were successfully built without errors,
we will promote it to be the next "official" snapshot here.

That is the reason why sometimes it can take days until a new version of LLVM
will be published here. If you're interested in the version for a particular day, feel free to open **https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/g/fedora-llvm-team/llvm-snapshots-big-merge-YYYYMMDD/** (replace **YYYYMMDD** with the date you desire). Notice, that we cannot keep the invdividual incubator projects around forever.

### Contributing

1060 / Ubuntu 22.04 / deepin 23

libssh2 with fix for ECDSA sign allocator mismatch (https://github.com/libssh2/libssh2/issues/1828). _libssh2_ecdsa_sign() allocated a buffer with LIBSSH2_ALLOC but freed it with OPENSSL_clear_free, crashing any application using custom allocators with ECDSA pubkey auth. One-line fix: use OPENSSL_malloc instead, matching how _libssh2_dsa_sha1_sign handles the same pattern. PR: https://github.com/libssh2/libssh2/pull/1829

Sensor ID: 2808:6553 (FocalTech FT9365 ESS)

This repository provides a patched version of libfprint specifically built to enable the FocalTech Match-on-Chip (MoC) fingerprint sensors found in the Samsung Galaxy Book 4 lineup.

Standard Fedora releases do not yet include support for this hardware. This build utilizes the community-developed drivers from Merge Request #554 (authored by Sid1803) to bridge the gap, allowing for seamless fingerprint authentication for login and sudo tasks.

komapro/rbw

> This repo will be maintained only until the `rbw` package in Fedora repo gets updated to a version that supports `ssh-agent`.

This is an unofficial command line client for
[Bitwarden](https://bitwarden.com/). Although Bitwarden does come with its own
[command line client](https://help.bitwarden.com/article/cli/), it is
limited by being stateless - to use it, you're required to manually lock and
unlock the client, and pass the temporary keys around in environment variables,
which makes it very difficult to use. `rbw` avoids this problem by
maintaining a background process which is able to hold the keys in memory,
similar to the way that `ssh-agent` or `gpg-agent` work. This allows the client
to be used in a much simpler way, with the background agent taking care of
maintaining the necessary state.

STEPcode (formerly NIST's STEP Class Library) is used with IFC, STEP, and
other standards that utilize the technologies of ISO10303 (STEP). It generates
C++ and Python from EXPRESS (10303-11) schemas. The code is capable of reading
and writing STEP Part 21 exchange files. It also utilizes Parts 22 and 23
(SDAI and its C++ binding).
SC reads ISO10303-11 EXPRESS schemas and generates C++ source code that can
read and write Part 21 files conforming to that schema. In addition to C++, SC
includes experimental support for Python.

# **Official port of linux-cachyos, -lts, -rt and -server for Fedora**

![CachyOS](https://lingruby.ovh/images/cachyos_logo.png)

# [Meet CachyOS team!](https://cachyos.org/about/#company)

# **linux-cachyos kernels use as default the BORE scheduler**

* BORE - (Burst-Oriented Response Enhancer) CPU Scheduler by [firelzrd (BORE)](https://github.com/firelzrd/bore-scheduler)
* EEVDF - (Earliest Eligible Virtual Deadline First) Scheduler is used as default in the server kernel.

# **Announcement 2026/02/23: We have removed the support for prebuilt Nvidia drivers with the kernels.**
The reason for this decision is a mismatch of release schedules between RPMFusion, Fedora and CachyOS. Following this decision we advise users to switch to either RPMFusion or Negativo17's Nvidia drivers.

# **GCC and LLVM-ThinLTO kernels**
The kernels in this repository are compiled with GCC. We also have a separate repo with Clang-compiled LLVM-ThinLTO kernels, which can be found [here](https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/bieszczaders/kernel-cachyos-lto/).

# **Features**

* AMD P-State Preferred Core and AMD CPB Switch support.
* Latest BTRFS and XFS improvements & fixes.
* Latest & improved ZSTD patch-set.
* Improved BFQ Scheduler.
* Back-ported patches from `linux-next` and cherry-picked patches from Clear Linux.
* BBRv3 tcp_congestion_control.
* NTSync patched and integrated into the kernel (exclusive to `kernel-cachyos`).
* OpenRGB and ACS Override support.
* HDR Patches for AMD GPU's and gamescope.
* Default support for Steam Deck.
* Sched-ext scheduler support.
* **CachyOS Addons repository**. Additional tools and settings can be found [here](https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/bieszczaders/kernel-cachyos-addons).

# **Checking for the cpu support**

Check support by the following the command

> */lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 --help | grep "(supported, searched)"*

If it does not detect x86_64_v3 support, do not install the default kernel. Otherwise, you will end up with a non-functioning operating system!
If it detects only x86_64_v2, you can use the LTS or Server kernel.

# **SElinux and cachyos kernel**

> *sudo setsebool -P domain_kernel_load_modules on*

If you are using SElinux, enable the above policy to load kernel modules.
