Dependencies are bundled using the "cargo vendor" tool and the "reproducible-tar-compress.sh" script. To reproduce the vendor.tar.gz file, clone the nushell repository and run inside its folder:
```
$ cargo vendor
$ export SOURCE_DATE_EPOCH=$(stat -c %Y old-vendor.tar.gz)
$ reproducible-tar-compress.sh vendor/
```

where old-vendor.tar.gz is the vendor.tar.gz archive you wish to reproduce.

elitesalman/firewalld-natpmp

A lightweight, secure, and native NAT-PMP (RFC 6886) daemon designed exclusively for firewalld environments. It communicates natively via the firewalld D-Bus API, managing lease lifecycles within its own memory space using permanent rules to eliminate netfilter hook conflicts and routing micro-outages during renewals.

Features include asynchronous timers, full firewalld reload resilience via D-Bus signal tracking, thread-safe connection caching, isolated crash recovery state persistence, and graceful teardown signal handling. Ideal for WireGuard VPN gateways and custom Linux routers.

crono/kernel-cachyos

# **Official port of linux-cachyos, -lts, -rt and -server for Fedora**

![CachyOS](https://lingruby.ovh/images/cachyos_logo.png)

# [Meet CachyOS team!](https://cachyos.org/about/#company)

# **linux-cachyos kernels use as default the BORE scheduler**

* BORE - (Burst-Oriented Response Enhancer) CPU Scheduler by [firelzrd (BORE)](https://github.com/firelzrd/bore-scheduler)
* EEVDF - (Earliest Eligible Virtual Deadline First) Scheduler is used as default in the server kernel.

# **Announcement 2026/02/23: We have removed the support for prebuilt Nvidia drivers with the kernels.**
The reason for this decision is a mismatch of release schedules between RPMFusion, Fedora and CachyOS. Following this decision we advise users to switch to either RPMFusion or Negativo17's Nvidia drivers.

# **GCC and LLVM-ThinLTO kernels**
The kernels in this repository are compiled with GCC. We also have a separate repo with Clang-compiled LLVM-ThinLTO kernels, which can be found [here](https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/bieszczaders/kernel-cachyos-lto/).

# **Features**

* AMD P-State Preferred Core and AMD CPB Switch support.
* Latest BTRFS and XFS improvements & fixes.
* Latest & improved ZSTD patch-set.
* Improved BFQ Scheduler.
* Back-ported patches from `linux-next` and cherry-picked patches from Clear Linux.
* BBRv3 tcp_congestion_control.
* NTSync patched and integrated into the kernel (exclusive to `kernel-cachyos`).
* OpenRGB and ACS Override support.
* HDR Patches for AMD GPU's and gamescope.
* Default support for Steam Deck.
* Sched-ext scheduler support.
* **CachyOS Addons repository**. Additional tools and settings can be found [here](https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/bieszczaders/kernel-cachyos-addons).

# **Checking for the cpu support**

Check support by the following the command

> */lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 --help | grep "(supported, searched)"*

If it does not detect x86_64_v3 support, do not install the default kernel. Otherwise, you will end up with a non-functioning operating system!
If it detects only x86_64_v2, you can use the LTS or Server kernel.

# **SElinux and cachyos kernel**

> *sudo setsebool -P domain_kernel_load_modules on*

If you are using SElinux, enable the above policy to load kernel modules.

## New era of messaging

Pure instant messaging — simple, fast, secure, and synced across all your devices. One of the world's top 10 most downloaded apps with over 500 million active users.

FAST: Telegram is the fastest messaging app on the market, connecting people via a unique, distributed network of data centers around the globe.

SYNCED: You can access your messages from all your phones, tablets and computers at once. Telegram apps are standalone, so you don’t need to keep your phone connected. Start typing on one device and finish the message from another. Never lose your data again.

UNLIMITED: You can send media and files, without any limits on their type and size. Your entire chat history will require no disk space on your device, and will be securely stored in the Telegram cloud for as long as you need it.

SECURE: We made it our mission to provide the best security combined with ease of use. Everything on Telegram, including chats, groups, media, etc. is encrypted using a combination of 256-bit symmetric AES encryption, 2048-bit RSA encryption, and Diffie–Hellman secure key exchange.

100% FREE & OPEN: Telegram has a fully documented and free API for developers, open source apps and verifiable builds to prove the app you download is built from the exact same source code that is published.

POWERFUL: You can create group chats with up to 200,000 members, share large videos, documents of any type (.DOCX, .MP3, .ZIP, etc.) up to 2 GB each, and even set up bots for specific tasks. Telegram is the perfect tool for hosting online communities and coordinating teamwork.

RELIABLE: Built to deliver your messages using as little data as possible, Telegram is the most reliable messaging system ever made. It works even on the weakest mobile connections.

FUN: Telegram has powerful photo and video editing tools, animated stickers and emoji, fully customizable themes to change the appearance of your app, and an open sticker/GIF platform to cater to all your expressive needs.

SIMPLE: While providing an unprecedented array of features, we take great care to keep the interface clean. Telegram is so simple you already know how to use it.

PRIVATE: We take your privacy seriously and will never give any third parties access to your data. You can delete any message you ever sent or received for both sides, at any time and without a trace. Telegram will never use your data to show you ads.

We keep expanding the boundaries of what you can do with a messaging app. Don’t wait years for older messengers to catch up with Telegram — join the revolution today.

# NOTE: COSMIC only supports back to the last non EOL'd version (Currently F43 as of 2026/04/22)

# COSMIC Desktop Environment on Fedora

## Installation (Tagged Releases)

The simplest way to install COSMIC on Fedora is installing from the official repository:

```sh
dnf install @cosmic-desktop-environment
```

This will give you the COSMIC session and everything else required to run the desktop.

## Installation (Nightly releases)

Installing the latest of COSMIC involves installing COSMIC through a COPR

```sh
dnf copr enable ryanabx/cosmic-epoch
dnf install cosmic-desktop
```

## Migration from nightly to tagged releases

Now that the Fedora repos include the latest stable version of COSMIC, it is recommended to use those packages for a more supported experience. If you'd like to migrate, the process is simple!

```sh
dnf remove cosmic-desktop
dnf copr disable ryanabx/cosmic-epoch
dnf install @cosmic-desktop-environment
```

## What is COSMIC?

COSMIC is a next-generation desktop environment primarily developed by System76, and by independent contributors. The desktop is written in rust, and prioritizes modularity for vendors, such that they can create the experience they require for their end-users. The desktop's defaults provide a very slick experience, and Fedora tends to keep these defaults intact. Despite this, the end user can customize COSMIC completely to their liking!
