Description

Framerate limiter for Linux OpenGL/Vulkan applications. Helps limit excessive framerates and conserve power/resources.

This is a more up-to-date packaging of what can be found here https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/atim/libstrangle/ and can hopefully be easily maintained.

I wish seeing how packages are built were easier in COPR, but for trust/transparency: this package was built only on this .spec file with light makefile modifications to upstream. https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/alih/libstrangle/srpm-builds/01557199/libstrangle.spec

Installation Instructions

sudo dnf copr enable alih/libstrangle
sudo dnf install libstrangle

Usage

To see strangle in action, try:

strangle 20 glxgears
