Description

Snapshots of the IfcOpenShell package, python interface for FreeCAD, the Bonsai BIM Blender add-on (previously BlenderBIM), and dependencies not in fedora.

note, Jan 2025: I'm not planning on maintaining any new packages in fedora. This repository is here as my contribution to development, to ensure that this project is packageable as a 'normal' Linux package - Bonsai in particular is moving too fast to consider adding this to fedora proper any time soon.

Installation Instructions

sudo dnf copr enable bpostle/IfcOpenShell

sudo dnf install IfcOpenShell-python3

sudo dnf install IfcOpenShell-bonsai

sudo dnf install Topologic-python3

FreeCAD IFC support should be enabled automatically with the IfcOpenShell-python3 package, the Bonsai addon needs to be enabled in the Blender preferences.

Note August 2020: there is a FreeCAD copr nightly snapshot repository, enable it like so:

dnf copr enable @freecad/nightly
