Description
This repository provides an RPM package for the Iriun Webcam application. It allows you to use your Android or iOS phone as a high-quality wireless webcam on your Fedora Linux system.
The package is designed to be easy to install and automatically handles necessary dependencies like akmod-v4l2loopback
.

Installation Instructions
Installation
To install Iriun Webcam, first enable this COPR repository:
sudo dnf copr enable droldao/iriunwebcam
Then, install the package:
sudo dnf install iriunwebcam
IMPORTANT: REBOOT REQUIRED
After the installation is complete, you must reboot your system. This is required to build and load the new virtual camera kernel module (v4l2loopback
). Your webcam will not work until you restart.
Usage
- Install the Iriun Webcam app on your phone from the Play Store or App Store.
- After rebooting your PC, open the Iriun Webcam application on your computer.
- Open the app on your phone.
- Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network. The connection should be automatic.
