Description

A window manager for GNOME | Attempts to improve performances with non-upstreamed merge-requests and frequent stable branch resync. Repackaged using the mutter-performance patch from the AUR repository, without any modifications.The default patch list includes "Dynamic triple buffering(!1441)", "text-input-v1(!3751)".Latest Dynamic triple buffering patch has several included MRs from the main development branch to achieve maximum performance.text-input-v1 patch adds text-input-v1 protocol support for input methods, fixing input method issues in Electron.

Dynamic triple/double buffering has been merged into Mutter 48!

The software package is outdated.

Users who need the text-input-v1 (!3751) patch, please go to:execat/mutter-im-fixes

1. Add COPR Repository

First, you need to enable the execat/mutter-performance COPR repository. Run the following command in the terminal:

sudo dnf copr enable execat/mutter-performance

2. Reinstall Software Using COPR Repository

After adding the COPR repository, use the following command to reinstall the software:

sudo dnf reinstall mutter --repo copr:copr.fedorainfracloud.org:execat:mutter-performance
