Cagefootvt install systemd units and shell scripts, to replace your VT with cage (Wayland compositor) and foot (Lightweight terminal)

Installation Instructions

Installation

sudo dnf copr enable jfalempe/cagefootvt
sudo dnf install cagefootvt

Enable cagefootvt for tty4

sudo systemctl enable cagefootvt@tty4
sudo systemctl enable agettyvt@tty4.path
sudo systemctl start cagefootvt@tty4
sudo systemctl start agettyvt@tty4.path

Then to switch to your cage/foot VT, press ctrl+alt+F4 (and press ctrl+alt+F2 to come back to the graphical session).

You may need to reboot after installation.
