The CentOS7 7 Geospatial Workstation project is an attempt to create a package repository for CentOS 7 workstations that provides a highly capable environment for data analysis and visualization, generally intended for use in the geosciences, specifically, in meteorology and hydrology. The combination of EPEL and ELGIS has never been a great solution, and currently ELGIS does not exist for CentOS 7.
