Description

OpenFOAM is a free, open source computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software package produced by OpenCFD Ltd with twice yearly releases.

It has a large user base across many areas of engineering and science, used in academic, government and commercial organizations.

OpenFOAM has an extensive range of features to solve anything from complex fluid flows involving chemical reactions, turbulence and heat transfer, to solid dynamics and electromagnetics.

Installation Instructions

As usual, source the OpenFOAM etc/bashrc before using.
