Description
Updated Network UPS Tools (NUT) for EL7 / CentOS 7 built using the unaltered contents of a src.rpm for Fedora 26 and a "fedpkg --dist el7 mockbuild".
Installation Instructions
The submitted nut-2.7.4-4.el7.src.rpm was generated by the following method on a Fedora 23 workstation:
sudo dnf install fedora-packager fedora-review
mkdir -p ~/packaging-work/nut
cd ~/packaging-work/nut
wget https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//packages/nut/2.7.4/4.fc26/src/nut-2.7.4-4.fc26.src.rpm
mv nut-2.7.4-4.fc26.src.rpm nut-2.7.4-4.fc26.src.rpm-original
Extract the src.rpm archive
rpm2cpio *-original | cpio --extract --make-directories --verbose
Then build from our spec and supplied patches only for el7 target.
fedpkg --dist el7 mockbuild
RPMs will be under ~/packaging-work/nut/results_nut/2.7.4/4.el7
