s-kro/geda-gaf

The GPL Electronic Design Automation (gEDA) project has produced and continues working on a full GPL'd suite and toolkit of Electronic Design Automation tools. These tools are used for electrical circuit design, schematic capture, simulation, prototyping, and production. Currently, the gEDA project offers a mature suite of free software applications for electronics design, including schematic capture, attribute management, bill of materials (BOM) generation, net-listing into over 20 netlist formats, analog and digital simulation, and printed circuit board (PCB) layout.

s-kro/linuxcnc

LinuxCNC CNC and Robotics Controller Software. DOES NOT INCLUDE A REALTIME KERNEL. Built with --realtime=uspace flag. Some of the permissions have been 'normalised,' so you may have to elevate them again if you do use it with an RTAI kernel. I use it on a laptop just to preview and simulate G-Code files. For realtime control of an actual machine it is much easier just to use a live ISO image straight from linuxcnc.org. But that is my humble opinion.
