Description
OpenRCT2 is an open source (GPL3) reimplementation of the RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 engine.
This package is just the upstream OpenRCT2 (currently version 0.0.4) compiled and packaged for you. Upstream: https://github.com/OpenRCT2/OpenRCT2
Installation Instructions
Simply dnf copr enable vurpo/openrct2 then dnf install openrct2.
This requires a copy of the original RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 game to run (because it uses the resources and assets from the original). If you don't have a copy of the original game, you can buy it on GOG or Steam.
If you have a CD copy of the game or bought it through GOG, you need to either install it using Wine or extract the files using unshield. If you bought it on Steam, follow these instructions on how to download the game through the Steam client.
When you run openrct2 for the first time, select the directory you have installed RCT2 into.
