Description
Git builds of a scrollable-tiling Wayland compositor.
Windows are arranged in columns on an infinite strip going to the right. Every column takes up a full monitor worth of height, divided among its windows.
Stable builds: yalter/niri
Installation Instructions
After enabling the COPR, append priority 1 to the repo configuration to prefer it over the official niri package:
echo "priority=1" | sudo tee -a /etc/yum.repos.d/_copr:copr.fedorainfracloud.org:yalter:niri-git.repo
Install, then select Niri in GDM or another display manager. You will be presented with a solid gray background. Press Super+T to run a terminal (alacritty), or Super+D to run an application launcher (fuzzel). To exit, press Super+Shift+E.
Most likely you will want to customize the configuration and install additional utilities such as swaybg and waybar. Read more in the README.
