Description

libimobiledevice is a cross-platform software library that talks the protocols to interact with iOS devices.

This repository provides up-to-date builds of libimobiledevice and some of its dependencies. These packages are automatically rebuilt on every commit to their respective repositories.

Installation Instructions

Fedora Workstation installations already have libimobiledevice installed. Removing this package to install libimobiledevice-git will cause the package manager to panic. As a result, the recommended method of installation is as follows:

sudo dnf copr enable dirextric/libimobiledevice-git
sudo dnf swap libimobiledevice libimobiledevice-git

Additionally, the usbmuxd package is required for many libimobiledevice component programs to work correctly. This package can be installed like so:

sudo dnf install usbmuxd
