Description

Suricata is a free and open source, mature, fast and robust network threat detection engine.

This repo is pinned to the 6.0.x release branch and will not be automatically updated to the next major release.

Installation Instructions

CentOS 9 Stream

dnf install epel-release
dnf copr enable @oisf/suricata-6.0 epel-9-$(arch)
dnf install suricata

CentOS 7, CentOS 8, CentOS 9 - Install

yum install epel-release yum-plugin-copr
yum copr enable @oisf/suricata-6.0
yum install suricata

Fedora - Install

dnf install dnf-plugins-core
dnf copr enable @oisf/suricata-6.0
dnf install suricata

CentOS - Upgrade from 5.0

yum copr disable @oisf/suricata-5.0
yum copr enable @oisf/suricata-6.0
yum update suricata

Fedora - Upgrade from 4.1

dnf copr disable @oisf/suricata-5.0
dnf copr enable @oisf/suricata-6.0
dnf update suricata
