Hdfssk's Projects

hdfssk/mkvalidator

mkvalidator is a simple command line tool to verify Matroska and WebM files for spec conformance. It checks the various bogus or missing key elements against the EBML DocType version of the file and reports the errors/warnings in the command line. It currently checks for missing mandatory element, EBML “junk” data (use of unknown IDs), bad track or cues (index) entries, and profile violation (like a v1 file using v2 features).

hdfssk/bookworm

bookworm is a simple, focused eBook reader. This version supports epub, pdf, mobi, cbr, and cbz ebooks. The bookworm library manager can toggle between a grid view and a list view. Editing the book metadata is possible in both views, however the list view allows sorting of metadata. Filtering is possible using the library's search bar. When reading, a preference menu allows essential adjustments for text zoom in/out, margin increase/decrease and line width increase/decrease. Bookworm comes with three reading profiles of light, sepia and dark. Multiple pages of the book can be bookmarked. Full screen mode is supported on right click or with the F11 shortcut. An info button provides the current book's information in three tabs: Contents, Bookmarks, and Search Results. A preference button on the header bar provides further customization options.

hdfssk/passwordsafe

Password Safe is a password database utility. It stores your passwords in an encrypted file, allowing you to remember only one password (the “safe combination”), instead of all the username/password combinations that you use.

hdfssk/dejavu-fonts

The DejaVu font set is based on the “Bitstream Vera” fonts, release 1.10. Its purpose is to provide a wider range of characters, while maintaining the original style, using an open collaborative development process. Upstream released version 2.37 in July 2016, adding a new font family that breaks the old rpm spec. This provides a working dejavu-fonts 2.37 package for current fedoras.

hdfssk/gtk3-nocsd

gtk3-nocsd is a small module that disables Gtk+ 3 client side decorations. Since Gtk+ 3.10, many GNOME applications have begun using client-side header bars, which combine traditional window manager-provided title bars with client-side menu and tool bars. When used with gnome-shell, header bar applications use less screen space for window controls, and can directly update their own controls. The GNOME project has made project-wide adoption of header bars an official goal. However, header bar applications can have integration problems with non-GNOME desktop environments: blocking non-gnome shell window manager features like window shading, and presenting an inconsistent UI / look. Unfortunately, Gtk+ 3.20 does not provide an option to turn client side decorations off in these cases. This LD_PRELOADable library (partially) turns them off, reenabling the window manager-provided title bar and window border.

hdfssk/libgphoto2

libgphoto2 ≤ 2.5.12 prevents digital camera programs from working with iOS 10.2+ at all. Fedora 26 has 2.5.14, this provides a working version for fedoras 24–25. See also https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1433491
